Hello Fellow Veterinarians! PDF  | Print |  E-mail

If you found your way here, I’m assuming that you took a look at the images AAVR sent you today. These images form the basis of our first Radiology Rounds session, lead by Dr. Eric Herrgesell and beginning this Tuesday, February 9. While you won’t get to listen in on Dr. Herrgesell’s analysis and decision-making process, you can discuss the subtle anomalies apparent on the images among yourselves.

I’ve always been amazed at how group efforts lead to the right diagnosis almost every time. It only makes sense after all. Several participants get to access each other’s training and experience, thereby broadening the collective knowledge base. I’m hoping this will be a fun (even social!) way to learn and perfect our diagnostic skills. How about it?

Take a look at those films and post your initial questions. You certainly don’t need to produce a diagnosis right away. Let’s think it through together. If you didn’t receive the films, shoot me a quick email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and I’ll make sure to get them to you right away. We look forward to reading what you have to say!
