The AAVR provides veterinarians with an efficient way to expand their knowledge about imaging through rigorous and focused continuing education programs. In keeping with the AAVR mission statement of responsible imaging all AAVR-certified courses acknowledge that imaging education is a process that requires time, effort, and mentorship. This process begins at the AAVR course. Self study after the course is also required.
- Ultrasound in Emergency Situations (USES) Course: The USES certification is a new paradigm in veterinary education training and focuses on the most important aspects of disease conditions in emergency situations. >>>>Read more about the AAVR USES Course.
We are currently in the process of setting up another USES course date for late 2010 or early 2011. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this revolutionary ultrasound course.

AAVR Online Radiology Rounds: "You can't learn to read films from a book." Becoming proficient at film reading requires interaction between the veterinarian and a radiologist. The AAVR is pleased to be hosting a nationally-recognized leader in veterinary radiology education, Dr. Eric Hergesell. Every other week, Dr. Hergesell will highlight his approach to film reading. During each rounds session, veterinarians will be able to interact with Dr. Hergesell through a webinar format. >>>>>>Read more about the AAVR online radiology rounds.
